I’m overwhelmed. First, I feel guilty for not blogging enough . I will get better, hopefully. The problem is, as the title of this post states: There are not enough hours in the day. Actually, to be more accurate, I don’t have enough hours in MY days.
I have so many interests that I love to pursue…reading, writing, cooking, beading (which has totally been put on a back burner), blogging and keeping up with friends, meeting friends for lunch, dinner or just great conversation, surfing the web for fun and educational purposes, traveling…well, you get the point.
Then there’s life…or survival. Working at a demanding profession (court reporting) + less free time (much, much less) = some semblance of survival.
Get the picture?
I haven’t even accounted for time “devoted” to laundry and housekeeping.
I want some play time…without having to focus on m-o-n-e-y. I am not even sure that is in the cards for me. I need a crystal ball .
How do YOU do it all and juggle the balls being thrown at you???

I hear you! I’m staying off the Internet as much as possible. It sucks me in and the next thing I know, an hour or two has passed. LOL It’s an incredible lure. At least what you’re doing is more productive.
PS What is housework? (just kidding)
Ruth, I know what you mean about the Internet, but it’s one of my stress relievers. It’s how I keep up to date on news, books, etc. I don’t spend nearly as much time on the Net as I would like to. I’m getting really FAST at surfing and use my iPad during downtime at work.
You have a day job which makes it all a lot harder. I am at home full time but still have plenty to do. My writing comes first. I do my five page daily quota before I allow myself to play on the Internet. The time sink for me is email loops and promo. Life can get lost when I’m on the computer all day.
Nancy, The “tough” part is my daytime job is the tip of the iceberg. My transcription is done nights and weekends. THAT is why I need to have mini mental health breaks where I “play” on the Internet or do “something” fun.
