There was a great post on LOVE ROMANCE PASSION today that is a perfect complement to my post of May 30, 2010, so I’m linking Keira’s to mine. Enjoy!

And here’s my original post from May 30th…
I believe there are READERS and there are people who just like to read. As I was reading on my Kindle at a stop light today (uh, YES), I realized AGAIN that I am a READER. I need to read. I have to read. Are you a READER or do you just like to read? Here is a little list of questions to ask yourself. This is how I’ve analyzed myself and labeled myself a READER over the years. This isn’t a real test, so just have fun …
1. The obvious. Do YOU read at stop lights?
2. Do you continue reading when the light turns green? Just kidding! Sort of!
3. Do you maximize a traffic jam by reading at least a paragraph (two if they’re short)?
4. Do you NEED to be in the middle of a book you’re enjoying at all times?
5. Referring to #3, are you MISERABLE (okay, maybe not miserable but certainly unhappy) when you’ve finished a book you’ve loved and haven’t started another book yet? Do you have an empty feeling until you’re immersed in another book? (Yes, this is a two-part question).
6. Do you try to be the passenger in your car on fill up days so you can read while the driver is filling your tank?
7. If you’re on a cruise ship and walking down rows of people on lounge chairs, do you try to guess what they’re reading based on the fact that you know a LOT of covers to books? (I refuse to incriminate myself, but you can see where this is going.)
8. On that same cruise, do you make a real effort to see what people are reading just to KNOW what they’re reading?
9. Do you have an unnatural affection for an eReader? Does it give you a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing you’re always carrying a LOT of books with you … just in case?
10. Are you adding to this list in your head as you’re going along?
If you’ve answered YES to any of the above, welcome to my world!!!
